In this young writers group you’ll do some new writing, share your work, and hone your skills. This will be a supportive community mentored by MCC creative writing major, Misty Yarnall who will present writing prompts, offer tips for revising and editing, and most of all create space for young writers to gather!

Misty Yarnall is a Creative Writing Major at Monroe Community College. Her flash fiction has been published in Gandy Dancer, SUNY Geneseo’s literary magazine. She has served as an apprentice and an intern for the SummerWrite Program at Writers & Books, as well as working closely with consignment books, preparing for Rochester Reads, and filling in at front desk when necessary. Misty is currently working on a novel.
