Wild Winter Woods: Homeschool Program

Come for a day of learning and fun at the GCV&M Nature Center!

From 1:00 - 4:00 PM our experienced naturalist will guide children through a hands-on animal artifact presentation, on a trail hike in a search of animal tracks, and as they create a nature's friend snowman! Parents are welcome to drop their children off, or join the fun.
That same day, families are welcome to come early from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM for self-guided, independent activities such as a winter storywalk, historic village and nature trail hikes, snowshoeing, and more! If there is snow, you can even bring your own sled for race down the hill in the great meadow. Parents must accompany children between 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
