Weird Nature Junior Summer Camp

EarthWorks Institute's "junior" summer camp, includes 6 hours of instruction from our experienced guides, an introduction to basic ecology, identification of plants and wild creatures, as well as endless opportunities to explore our local bio-region.

Weird Nature Camp | Ages 6-8

This junior summer camp explores the ecological relationships that exist between all living things and highlights just how interdependent everything truly is. From zombie snails to glow in the dark fungus, the link between acid rain and ovenbird eggshells, prepare to see nature in a new light as we pluck the web of life. Students will experience hands-on learning as they:

  • Explore connections in naturest. john fisher college
  • Discover your impact on nature
  • Interact with critters & crawlers
  • Identify “weird” plans
  • Begin investigating ecology!

Dates: Single Session,  July 16-20
Time: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM, Aftercare 2:30 - 4:30 PM
Location: Wynds Woods on St. John Fisher Campus
Cost: $200 per session for each student, Aftercare available for an additional $30
