WE Explore for 4th-6th Grade Girls

Open to 4-6th grade girls, WE Explore is about the hands-on exploration of the engineering design process! Girls will be randomly assigned to two different ~45-minute activities, both of which will be led by KGCOE female engineering students. These small groups will explore the engineering design process in detail while completing an activity and connecting to that activity’s real-world engineering applications. In between small group activities, the whole group will convene for a fun engineering game! Visiting girls will leave with a better understanding of what engineering is, the difference it makes, and conversation starters to be used with adults at home. The dress is casual, closed-toe shoes required. The registration fee of $15 covers all activity material costs. E-mail we@rit.edu with questions, or to request a scholarship application.
