VeRacity VR Game Development Camp

Virtual reality (VR) is a fast-growing field in technology and the video gaming industry.
We offer VR video game design using Unity. Campers will be guided by experienced developers and programmers and gain insights from art and sound designers. Campers will learn core mechanics and implementation and create a playable game slice. Each camper will learn what it is like to have a voice on a game project and make an impact.
Each day campers will work in small groups and will have a section of the game’s development. Groups will rotate each day of the week to learn different elements of a VR video game. At the start of each day we will introduce the individual tasks for each group. All campers will complete each task at least once.
Schedule
8:30–9:00 AM Drop-off
9:00–10:00 AM Free VR game play
10:00–11:30 AM Educational session
11:30 AM–12:00 PM Lunch (pizza provided)
12:00–1:30 PM Educational session
1:30–3:00 PM Free VR game play
3:00–3:30 PM Pick-up
VeRacity VR Camp will develop campers:
• Knowledge of virtual reality and the future of gaming
• VR programming and game design ability
• Understanding of elements of game development and project input
• Friendships and team workmanship
