Theatrical Makeup Workshop: Basic Stage Makeup

Experience a workshop packed with techniques, tips and tricks! Trained makeup artist, Jamie Mance, will demonstrate skillful, basic makeup application techniques designed to bring features to life from 40 feet away. Avoid looking washed out under those bright stage lights with tricks to shape and open eyes, add freckles, define brows, enhance lips, and age gracefully (or not so gracefully depending on your character). Listen to tips about materials to consider when assembling a makeup kit. Bring your own makeup for hands-on practice or come as an observer. Either way, you’ll leave with a set of skills suitable for any Stages production.

Grades 1 - 12 (1 st - 5th Grade must be accompanied by a parent)
