Marking the 100th anniversary of David Hochstein’s death, Hochstein faculty members perform selections from Hochstein’s own compositions, works he recorded, and pieces he performed on a November 1915 recital in New York City. Repertoire includes music by Schumann, Mozart, Brahms, Hochstein, Cui, Sevcik, Kreisler, and Bruch.
Featuring: Violinists: Heather Misula, Pia Liptak, Megan Kemp, Eri Noda, Marcos Kreutzer, Katie Worley; Pianists: Gary Palmer, Willie LaFavor
Admission at the door is $10 per person, with a $20 family maximum. A “meet the artists” reception follows the concert.
The Spotlight on Faculty concert series is generously supported by Hochstein donors. It is also made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
