Spongebob The Musical
REGIONAL PREMIERE OF THE HIT NICKELODEON TV SHOW NOW IN AN ON-STAGE MUSICAL
Programs for both students ages 7-12 and students 12-18!
KIDS PROGRAM: Open to ages 7-13
Rehearsals April 8th-May 22nd, 2021 on Thursdays 6PM-9PM & Saturdays 11:45AM-2:15PM as well as starting early at 10AM on 5/8 and 5/15; Sunday, 5/16 6PM-9PM; and tech week 5/17-20 from 5PM-9PM
Performances Friday, May 21st at 7PM; Saturday, May 22nd at 2PM and 6PM at the new OFC Creations Theatre Center

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Spongebob Squarepants! The stakes are higher than ever in this dynamic stage musical, as SpongeBob and all of Bikini Bottom face the total annihilation of their undersea world. Chaos erupts. Lives hang in the balance. And just when all hope seems lost, a most unexpected hero rises up and takes center stage. The power of optimism really can save the world! Join Patrick, Sandy, Mr. Krabs, Pearl, Plankton, and of course Spongebob on this crazy one-of-a-kind musical adventure!
The newest show title released despite the current pandemic. The SpongeBob Musical is based on the beloved Nickelodeon animated series created by Stephen Hillenburg and features a book by Kyle Jarrow, with original songs by Yolanda Adams, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, Sara Bareilles, Jonathan Coulton, Alexander Ebert of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, The Flaming Lips, Lady Antebellum, Cyndi Lauper, John Legend, Panic! At the Disco, Plain White T’s, They Might Be Giants and T.I., and songs by David Bowie, Tom Kenny and Andy Paley.
Please note: All roles can be played by any gender.
Please note: Students may participate with Spongebob The Musical that are enrolled in any other program at OFC that may overlap dates (No conflict with Little Shop of Horrors or Defying Gravity). Contact us for details.
