Join RPO Music Director Maestro Andreas Delfs and your RPO for Away from Home, a free Around the Town concert celebrating musical journeys across borders and imaginations. From Tchaikovsky’s Spanish Dance from Swan Lake and Nielsen’s exotic Oriental Festival March to Mendelssohn’s lively Italian Symphony and Dvořák’s soulful New World Symphony, each piece captures the wonder of exploring new worlds. The program concludes with Gershwin’s jazzy An American in Paris and John Williams’ soaring E.T.: Adventures on Earth, reminding us that adventure begins wherever the heart dares to wander.
