Readathon at the Victor Farmington Library

On Friday, June 26th special guest readers will take turns reading their favorite children’s books out loud for 15 minutes each, creating an entertaining read-aloud marathon at the Victor Farmington Library (VFL). The fun begins at 9:00 am and runs through 6:30 pm. Questions, costumes, and even the occasional well-behaved pet will captivate attendees. Opportunities to meet the Readathon Bookworm, enjoy complimentary refreshments, do story-inspired crafts, and catch surprise demonstrations from local clubs and organizations add to the fun. Caregivers of elementary-aged and younger children will especially enjoy this community event, which doubles as the perfect opportunity to pick up your Summer Reading challenge! Stay for a couple readers, or enjoy them all.
