Quilt Art Day for Families

After viewing the Community Quilt show on site at the Pavilion stop in the library to use paper bits, fabric pieces, oil pastels, crayons, and colored pencils to create an artful "quilted" piece!

After you visit the Community Quilt show on Saturday morning, swing by the library to create a unique paper quilt art project using a kaleidoscope of paper bits, fabric pieces, oil pastels, crayons, and colored pencils in the style of award-winning children’s book author, Faith Ringgold, known for her Quilt Stories. Bring your imagination and wear old clothes; we’ll get messy! This event for all ages takes place on Saturday, January 29th from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM at the Library Meeting Room. No need to register, just drop in.
