These are the train rides your friends are talking about! October 13-14, 20-21! Enjoy a mile-and-a-half train ride through our rural museum grounds, located in the scenic heart of the Genesee Valley! Ride aboard authentically restored freight train cabooses to the Pumpkin Patch! Every child will visit our Pumpkin Patch to choose a small baby pumpkin to take home to decorate. Complementary apple cider and cookies for everyone. Fresh, hot, Duke’s Donuts will also be available for purchase! Enjoy our friendly petting zoo after your ride!
Your fun and exciting train ride experience starts just 20 minutes south of Rochester! Enter our historic Industry depot and purchase your ticket from the friendly agent inside. Tour our displays while you wait to board your train. You will be welcomed aboard by friendly volunteers as you enjoy your ride aboard restored freight train cabooses.
Disembark at our Restoration Shop to tour our collection of historic railroad equipment. Peek behind the scenes to see how we preserve Rochester’s rich railroading history for future generations to enjoy. Your return trip arrives at Industry depot, where you will have time to enjoy our displays and museum grounds. Refreshments will be available for purchase, including a full grill menu. Our museum gift shop is stocked with many railroad souvenirs for train buffs of all ages.
Trains depart every half-hour from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
