Produce a 90-Second Newbery Film

(ALL DAY: for ages 13-16) NOTE: Meets at RCTV, 21 Gorham Street Over the course of this week-long camp, students transform into cast and crew to make their own short movie based on a Newbery Medal-winning book. You will learn how to run cameras, set up lights, operate audio equipment, direct, and edit. Oh, and did we mention you’ll be the writers and stars of the movie too?

We’ll have a red carpet premiere for friends and family on Friday and the finished movie will be submitted to the national 90-second Newbery Film Festival with screenings across the country, including in Rochester!
