Planting HOPE Project | Kids Out and About Rochester

Planting HOPE Project

Hope Hall is excited to announce the Planting HOPE Project. Inspired by the true story of how Hope Hall's 45 original students each planted a tulip bulb during the first "Burying of the I Can'ts" ceremony; and how every single tulip bloomed the following Spring Planting. HOPE Kits are filled with a variety of garden items including seeds, small hand tools, tulip bulbs, gardening tips and more. Funds raised from sales will go directly to student educational and social/emotional programs and services at Hope Hall. Each Planting HOPE kit also includes one raffle ticket. Makes a Great Mother's Day Gift!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately.

Kits are $50 each, and raffle tickets can be purchased individually for $10 each.

Raffle items include:

  • A beautiful crab apple tree
  • A Summer or Fall Year Cleanup
  • Two hand-crafted Adirondack Chairs created by students in Hope Hall's woodworking program

A pick-up event is scheduled for Saturday, April 24th from 11 am - 3 pm at Hope Hall School. The event will be outdoors, socially distanced with masks required.
