We are recruiting subjects for a new research study on sensory processing in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or ADHD, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) or Typical Development at the Spectrum Brain Lab at the University of Rochester Medical Center. The study involves using EEG (electroencephalogram), and virtual reality (VR).
We are looking for individuals aged 7-12 years old with OR without Autism or ADHD to take part in the study. Subjects must have normal hearing, normal or corrected-to-normal vision, no neurological disease, no history of head injury or psychosis.
Subjects may be asked to participate in one or more sessions: one session ~3hours for cognitive testing, and one ~3h involving EEG. Subjects will be paid $18/hour for their participation. The parent or guardian will receive an additional $25 stipend per visit.
If you are interested in participating or in your child participating or would like more information, please contact the lab at SpectrumBrainLab@gmail.com.
