Has your child shown a sudden onset or increasing set of symptoms after a recent illness that include any of the following: acute anxiety, OCD, separation anxiety, or restricted food intake/extreme pickiness? If so, it may be a medical condition called PANS/PANDAS.

PANS/PANDAS Class- Symptoms, Diagnosis, Treatment Options

Has your child shown a sudden onset or increasing set of symptoms after a recent illness that include any of the following: acute anxiety, OCD or separation anxiety, or restricted food intake/extreme pickiness? If so, it may be a medical condition called PANS/PANDAS which is short for Pediatric Acute Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome. Other symptoms may include motor or verbal tics, depression, emotional changes, rages, irritability or aggressiveness, oppositional behavior, developmental or behavioral regression, a decrease in school performance or learning ability, sleep changes, urinary accidents or urinary frequency. This class will discuss PANS/PANDAS diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment options to empower you as parents to help your child.
