This Is Me: Experiencing The Greatest Show!
Open to ages 7–12
January 13-March 22 on Tuesdays 6PM-7:30PM, Concluding with a showcase on Sunday, March 22 at 11AM for friends and family. Off 2/17 for February Break.
Instructor: Holly Lowden
Tuition: $240 (Early bird discount: $225 by November 15th)
Rewrite the stars with OFC Creations as a million dreams come to life with exploring one of the most beloved movie musicals about the greatest show on Earth! Students will learn songs and dances from the hit motion picture. Most importantly, the class will explore the storytelling techniques and the background of P.T. Barnum and how it relates to the movie.
The story of The Greatest Showman celebrates the birth of show business and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation. This class will explore how each of us are storytellers and visionaries in our own way.
The class will conclude with a showcase for parents, featuring group songs and dances inspired from The Greatest Showman, and each student will have a solo or featured piece. Students do not need to audition for the program.
