May 2023 Location for Tyler Nordgren Eclipse Art Exhibit

For the month of May 2023, Salena's Mexican Restaurant is hosting the traveling art exhibit from eclipse artist and astronomer Tyler Nordgren, sponsored by the Rochester Eclipse Task Force. Nordgren designed a variety of posters for Rochester's commemoration of the 2024 eclipse; his 2017 eclipse artwork is at the Smithsonian. The 30-poster exhibit, consisting of eclipse posters from 2017 and 2024, as well as Dr. Nordgren's New York Parks series, is being displayed at a different Rochester-area location each month in the year leading up to the eclipse, from April 2023 to April, 2024. Visit it in May 2023 at Salena's Mexican Restaurant at the Village Gate, Tuesday 12pm-9pm, Wednesday and Thursday 11:30am - 9pm, Friday and Saturday 11:30am-10pm, and Sunday 12pm-8pm.
