The Love Your Tree Workshop is part of "Love Your Tree" a nature based creative arts campaign that celebrates the natural and heathy diversity of bodies in our world, and works to promote positive body image and self-esteem in us all.

The Love Your Tree Workshop is part of "Love Your Tree" a nature based creative arts campaign that celebrates the natural and heathy diversity of bodies in our world, and works to promote positive body image and self-esteem in us all.
“This fun and powerful campaign helps people of all backgrounds develop positive body image, improved self-esteem and enhanced media literacy skills, all of which can serve as protective factors against the development of eating disorders.”
The objectives of the Love Your Tree Workshop is to:
- Define and understand body image
- Learn what influences our perception of what makes a body suitable or attractive
- Explore what we like most about our bodies and attributes
- Create a visual, using the metaphor, “Like a Tree My Body is…” to celebrate and share all of what makes us special or unique in this world.

We'll meet in the parking lot, and plan to spend our time outdoors for this event, following all social distancing guidelines. So please plan accordingly!
