Learn about honey bees

Learn the parts of a hive and how the bees make honey. We have a very small apiary at the farm. You will learn a bit about the different types of hives, the life of bees, how we get honey and beeswax, and some of the challenges facing the bees. There will be an observation hive so that you can see what exactly goes on in the beehive.
