This clinic will be held on Merrill Field, on the Alfred University campus. This camp is for rising Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors.
We will again be using CampDoc for our online registration system. We are again partnering with CampDoc (an online registration program) to better serve our campers and staff. CampDoc offers online registration and an electronic health record system for campers. The CampDoc site is secure, encrypted and password protected. Only Alfred University Summer Health Staff will have access to camper health information.
To gain access to our online application, please go to our website at https://www.alfred.edu/about/community/summer-camps/day-camps/sports-camps/lacrosse.cfm
How to Enroll:
Complete our online Registration form (We support the current and previous major releases of Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari on a rolling basis.)
Students will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Enrollment is limited so it is a good idea to enroll as early as possible. Once accepted, campers will receive, along with their acceptance letter, instructions on where to find and download all required materials including medical, emergency contact, and parental permission forms. Updated immunization information (including dates) is also required prior to the camp.
***Players and teams will be supervised and coached by Alfred University College Coaches***
All camp participants should wear appropriate attire for practice and bring their own lacrosse equipment. Equipment also includes mouth piece and protective gear. Instruction, meal and T-shirt provided.
The camp will be directed by Alfred University's Men's Lacrosse Head Coach, Jason Lockner. Jason was appointed head coach of men's lacrosse at Alfred University in the fall of 2005. He came to AU from Alfred State College where he served as head men's lacrosse coach from 1997-2005. His team posted a 7-7 mark last year, leading the Saxons to a berth in the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championship tournament. He was an All-Region and All-American defenseman as well as an Academic All-American while playing at Corning Community College where he earned his associate's degree in liberal arts in 1991. He transferred to SUNY Cortland where he was a two-year starter and the team leader in ground balls. He earned a bachelor's degree in health science from Cortland in 1995 and a master's degree in education from Cortland in 2000. Prior to taking the head coaching job ata Alfred State, Lockner served as assistant men's lacrosse coach at Cortland from 1993-96.
