Irondequoit 5-year-old, Theo, and star of his own YouTube channel, Kitchen Boss, is using his platform to encourage kids and their families to donate to their local food cupboards. Theo’s channel is a cooking and craft show for kids by a kid and he wants other kids to know that, while food can be fun, hunger is a serious issue and that you’re never too young to help your community.
On Sunday, March 31 Theo’s hosting an event at his mom’s local business to celebrate his channel’s season finale. This is a FREE event with DIY snacks, crafts, the premiere of his 20th episode and, most importantly, a food drive to benefit the Irondequoit Community Cupboard. Everyone that brings a food item will receive a free raffle ticket and all raffle ticket proceeds ($2) will go to Irondequoit Community Cupboard as well.
