Campers will build dioramas of Spanish castles, Mexican Mayan temples, create Mayan masks from plaster, learn how to make a huge piñata for our Fiesta Friday while learning conversational Spanish. Dramatic role playing of stories using traditional Flamenco dresses and costumes, games, and dance help bring the language to life. Campers learn basic and useful Spanish including: colors, numbers, and food items. We get messy with papier–mâché, get moving as we explore nature and get busy learning the language and culture. Remember to dress for a messy, fun week which ends with a fiesta including the breaking of our piñata. Lunch is provided.
