The Jungle Book at TYKEs Theatre
Saturday, March 28, 2026, 1pm & 3:30pm: Missoula Children’s Theatre show-in-a-week is BACK at the JCC by popular demand! TYKEs Theatre's 21st partnership with Missoula Children’s Theatre brings us to the jungle! Participants rehearse Monday through Friday, March 23 to 27, 2026 and perform The Jungle Book live on stage in the Hart Theater at the JCC on Saturday, March 28. Fabulous on-stage roles for kids in Kindergarten and up in this full-scale musical complete with sets, props and costumes! No prior acting experience necessary.

TYKEs is delighted to once again partner with Missoula Children’s Theatre for our 21st show-in-a-week experience. Participants rehearse Monday through Friday, March 23 to 27, 2026 and perform The Junge Book live on stage in the Hart Theater at the JCC on Saturday, March 28. We’ll meet young Mowgli, who is adopted by wolves, taught by a bear, befriended by a panther and chased by a tiger as he explores what it means to be human and learns a lesson from the brave mongoose Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. Original music and rollicking humor give new life to the classic tale by Rudyard Kipling.

About the performances
There are two performances on Saturday, March 28 in the Hart Theater at the JCC – 1 pm and 3:30pm. All children perform in both shows. The production will also be recorded and available to families.
