Hilarious Off-Broadway Show "Dixie's Tupperware Party" | Kids Out and About Rochester

Hilarious Off-Broadway Show "Dixie's Tupperware Party"

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 01/26/2020
This hilarious off-Broadway show comes to Rochester for the very first time, featuring Dixie Longate, the fast-talking, gum chewing, ginger-haired Alabama gal who is bringing your grandma’s Tupperware party out of the living and into the 21st century. Audiences howl with laughter from her outrageously funny tales, homespun wisdom, audience participation and uses for Tupperware that you never thought possible. Adult Content - enjoyable for children ages 16 & up.

Entering into its 14th year, OFC Creations (Opportunities For Creativity) continues to enhance the arts throughout the Rochester area for all ages. Through shows, events, and work-shops OFC is committed to giving back to our next generation.

OFC Creations was founded in 2005 by Eric Vaughn Johnson to give students an opportunity to push their creative limits. Students dabbled in claymation, videography, and music videos. As the group matured, OFC Creations became a more formal organization with support from the Rochester community. The group produced live musical theatre productions in Pittsford, Brighton, Fairport, Nazareth College, The Rochester Museum and Science Center, Visual Studies Workshop, School of the Arts, East End Theatre, The Kodak Center, and The Lyric Theatre.

Today OFC Creations continues supporting the community through partnerships and creative show selections in the Rochester area. OFC offers after school and evening arts programming to private and public schools, video production for events and theatrical performances, and opening opportunities to new directors in the Rochester community. Additionally, OFC partners with the LGBT community each year to present a fundraiser for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. In the summer months, OFC runs the largest theatre summer camp program in Upstate New York: ROC Summer Theatre Experience.
