Journey into the Helmer Nature Center forest at night in search of owls!

Meet Sherlock, our Eastern Screech Owl, and learn about the amazing adaptations that allow owls to hunt at night and how to identify our local species by sight or sound. Then join us on a moonlit walk through our woods where we will call to the owls and listen for owl activity.
This program is best for adults and children 8 years old and above.
PROGRAM FEE: $5 for Non-Members/FREE to Members
Payment accepted at the door -- cash or check only, please.
Pre-registration is required. For your convenience, our Owl Prowl program is offered on 2 evenings. Please specify which session you would like to attend when registering. To register, call 336-3035 or email andrea_monahan@westiron.monroe.edu.
