The Healthy Hero Summer camp at Monroe Community College is a free camp open to Rochester City School District students who are currently enrolled in Kindergarten - 5th grade and will be entering 1st - 6th grade in the Fall 2018.
The five-week camp runs from July 2 - August 3 (Monday - Friday) from 8:00am - 3:30pm, with no camp on Wednesday, July 4th.
Camp activities include a variety of active play including team sports, ropes course, swim lessons and an academic cirriculum for math, reading, music and health education. A healthy breakfast and lunch are provided to all campers (please note, absolutely no outside food is allowed at camp). The camp also provides transportation to and from the camp from various stops within the city of Rochester.
The registration deadline is June 1, 2018. In order to register, parents must submit a completed application, signed medical release form and a current physical and immunzation record (dated after August 2, 2017). The entire registration process can be completed online or you may contact the camp office to request a paper application.
