Grand Opening of Zoo Expansion

Seneca Park Zoo’s new Animals of the Savanna expansion is set to officially open to the public on Thursday, September 13, 2018. Mark your calendars to visit the Zoo and experience the new five-acre area featuring Masai giraffes, plains zebras, ostriches, a white rhino, naked mole rats and so much more! The expansion includes a tram that will take guests from the front of the Zoo to the new area beyond the elephant barn. Additionally, the Savanna Outpost is a new concessions area, and will include an opportunity for guests to feed the giraffes in the future.
