This film was produced in 1976 for the opening of the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC, where it still inspires crowds daily. Later, the Library of Congress added it to the National Film Registry for its enduring importance in American culture. Now it’s on Rochester’s planetarium dome for the first time.
