First Night Rochester is an annual New Year's Eve party focused on providing families a memorable and safe opportunity to celebrate the New Year.

A wide range of activities and entertainment take place, including three ice rinks of ice skating!
All activities that take place throughout the event are created for families with children of all ages and are guaranteed to create a memorable experience your family will cherish for years to come.

ENTERTAINMENTFirst Night Rochester has something entertaining for people of all ages - especially the younger partiers. Throughout the event, DJ Brian of Party Productions will be on DJ'ing, and entertaining our younger guests.

TURF PARTY ZONEThe First Night Party Zone is located in the feature arena at Bill Gray's Regional Iceplex. We have covered an entire rink with a turf floor which is host to multiple bounce houses, music, games and a 40 foot video screen playing live footage of Times Square.

MULTIPLE SKATING RINKSFirst Night Rochester offers three rinks of fun!
1. Party Rink, featuring our state of the art light show 2. Decades Rink featuring hits of the decades 3. Kiddie Rink, a skating rink for families with small children. |
HOURLY NYE COUNTDOWNSCan't stay until the end of our party but don't want to miss a countdown? No worries, we have you covered. First Night Rochester features an hourly countdown, we all guests get to enjoy four 'midnight celebrations' with their loved ones!

FOOD & DRINKBill Gray's Regional Iceplex is home to a full sized Bill Gray's Restaurant and Tap Room which overlooks the Party Zone and Decades Rink. In addition, Coffee Etc. is a gourmet coffee shop located in the upper lobby of the Iceplex, next to the fireside lounge area.
