Figure skating 101 is an introduction to the sport of figure skating, participants will build upon the fundamental skills learned in the Skating 101 program. Participants receive expert instruction in the essential aspects of figure skating, including footwork, mastering edges, spinning, and jumping—all guided by a meticulously crafted curriculum endorsed by the United Skates Figure Skating Association

Twirl, Glide, and Spin! Figure Skating 101 is the perfect next step after basic skating, introducing participants to the elegant world of figure skating. Taught by our world-class instructors, students learn essential skills like footwork, edges, spinning, and jumping in a positive and inspiring environment. This program is run in partnership with the Genesee Figure Skating Club, offering an excellent pathway for those who wish to pursue the sport further. Give your child the gift of a beautiful, lifelong skill! (Completion of Iceplex Skating 101 is highly recommended.
Classes start 1/5/26 and are every Monday until 2/23/26
