February Break Fun EcoExpeditions

EcoExpeditions are one-day opportunities for children to step outside and explore in a way that balances play with purpose on days off from school. These adventures lead to wellness, fun, and new relationships as we use nature-themed activities to explore the park, make new friends, and develop our connection to the world around us.

Rochester Ecology Partners is a non-profit that serves members of the Greater Rochester community who need opportunities to learn about nature and connect with their community. Our nature based programs and partnerships lead to improved individual, community, and environmental health. This organization is our answer to, “How do we create a sustainable, just, and hopeful future together?” Our mission is to help all people find nature where they live, work, and play.
Join us for winter fun in Cobbs Hill Park! We will be exploring the natural wonder that is Washington Grove, playing in the park and warming up with hot cocoa in the lodge. One day experiences with friends, new and old. Sign up for any or all of these days!
- When: FEB 17 and/or FEB 18
- Where: Tay House Lodge, Cobbs Hill Park
- What time: 9 am – 3 pm
- Who: Any 7-11 year olds
- Cost: Sliding Scale between $10 and $60 for the day. We ask you to choose an amount that fits your budget and supports the sustainability of the program.
Additional Details
- We will do everything we can to accommodate children that would like to participate.
- Please let us know if there is anything that we can do to accommodate your child.
- Participants should bring their own lunch. We can provide a lunch option if necessary
- Our EcoExpeditions will take place outdoors but indoor warm-up spaces will be available for use if needed.
- Registration may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the ecoexpedition for a full refund.
- We will reach out if the weather is too cold, windy or snowy activities will be moved indoors. Cancellation will happen only in extreme weather.
