Drama Kids Classes (In-Person)

WHAT DO STUDENTS DO IN A DRAMA KIDS CLASS?
We always begin our classes with high-energy introduction exercises that get students' creativity flowing, body moving, and voice warmed up. Next, we work on our speech segment where students develop their vocal articulation, projection, volume control, and expression. During our movement segment, students work on body expression and physical storytelling. The main lesson will vary each week, including whole-class scenes (scripted), small group improvisations, snippets, and mini-scripts (partner work). Each class concludes with a high-energy activity or theater game. Our classes culminate in a showcase at the end of the fall session and a scripted ensemble stage performance at the end of the spring session. Basically, Drama Kids is all about having FUN!
WHO CAN TAKE DRAMA KIDS CLASSES?
Drama Kids is perfect for new students wanting to discover their dramatic side, as well as for those students wishing to continue to develop acting, performance, and public speaking skills. Our teachers focus on individual growth and achievements.
Drama Kids is for students in grade K-5. Our Acting Academy Program is open to students grades 6-12.
WHERE ARE CLASSES HELD?
Community Classes - We are currently holding in-person classes in several community locations:
- Pittsford (Tuesday evenings)
- Webster (Friday evenings)
In-School Classes - We also hold after-school classes in many Rochester area schools. Due to COVID restrictions, we are not able to meet inside schools at this time. Please check our website for updates.

We offer rolling enrollment when space is available through mid-February.
