Dog Behavior 101 (Ages 13-18) - At Lollypop Farm
his introductory course focuses on dog body language using the TEMP acronym (Tails, Ears/Eyes, Mouth, and Posture). Most of us know that when a dog wags their tail, it means they’re happy! But did you know a dog’s tail wag can also be used to communicate insecurity or nervousness? And what about other behaviors like lip licking or avoiding eye contact? Whether you’re looking to adopt a dog for the first time or you live with dogs already, Dogs 101 will help you to better understand the numerous and complex ways our canine friends communicate their wants, needs, and emotions.
