Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County is hosting its Annual Cornell Chicken BBQ Fundraiser on Sunday, September 9th from 1-4pm at the Extension office on 2449 St Paul Blvd, Rochester, NY 14617.
Wilshire Catering will be preparing 600 chicken dinners grilled on-site. The menu includes ½ Cornell-marinated chicken, macaroni salad, salt potatoes, and a roll. Dinners will also include 100% all natural New York Chips, produced by Marquart Farms locally grown potatoes.
Cornell University’s recipe for barbeque chicken goes back to 1955. This recipe is famous for its simple ingredients and bold flavor. The traditional preparation method includes slow grilling chicken halves to perfection, basted in layers of the “secret” sauce.
Guests are welcome to Dine In or Drive Thru!
Dine In and enjoy music provided by the RAPA All In Brass Youth Band, interact with our very own Dancing Chicken, play corn hole, purchase a sweet treat from our 4-H Bake Sale, and visit with neighbors and friends while enjoying your meal! Drive Thru and pick up multiple meals for a family gathering or late summer party at your place.

Proceeds from this event will be used to support the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County program areas: Agriculture, Horticulture, 4-H and Nutrition outreach.
