Coffee & Doughnuts Workshop

Step into the 1850s Jones Farm kitchen to learn how coffee was roasted and doughnuts were fried in the 19th century. Participants ages 16 and up will use historic techniques and ingredients to make and enjoy their own brunch-time treats during this hands-on workshop at Genesee Country Village & Museum.

Coffee & Doughnuts Workshop at Genesee Country Village & Museum invites participants to explore how two beloved treats were prepared in the 19th century.
Guests will step into the 1850s Jones Farm kitchen to learn traditional methods for roasting coffee and frying doughnuts using period ingredients and techniques. Under the guidance of Museum educators, participants will take part in the full process and enjoy the brunch-time treats they create.
This workshop is recommended for ages 16 and up. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a paid adult. Advance registration is required, and space is limited.
