Cardboard Boat Regatta

Grab your partner and start saving your boxes! The Eastside Family YMCA is hosting its inaugural Cardboard Boat Regatta. Rules include: you have until November 3 at 1 pm to build your boat, all boats and paddles must be made out of cardboard and tape ONLY, and all boats must hold two people. Awards for: fastest 50 yards, longest distance covered in three minutes, and most spectacular sinking ship. Must be 9 years or older. Proceeds benefit the YMCA Annual Campaign for Financial Assistance.
