Musical Curiosities: Benjamin Franklin to Gershwin
Dennis James, the world’s foremost virtuoso on curious instruments, plays Franklin’s invention, the Glass Armonica (mechanized, spinning glass bowls), and Canandaigua favorite Audrey Andrist performs selected piano delicacies by Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Schumann, and Gershwin. With a supporting cast of co-artistic directors Kevin Kumar and Amy Barston, and founding co-artistic director Edward Klorman.
