Traditional Day Camp Kids thrive in a "well-rounded" camp experience that allows them to discover what thrills them and at which activities they excel. Campers are free to explore many areas of interest by way of unique and exciting programs.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Camp Sisol, located on a peaceful, 70 acre expanse of rolling hills, green grass, woods, a creek and a pond at Markus Park in Honeoye Falls, offers traditional day camp, specialty camp, TYKEs KidStage theatre camp, KidSport athletics camp, hobby camp, a teen travel program and a counselor-in-training program.

All camps feature free busing to and from camp, healthy and nutritious Kosher meals and snacks, fun weekly themes, and swimming in our beautiful outdoor heated pool. Daily activities include theater games, athletics, music, nature activities and much more. Depending on the program, also offerred are Red Cross certified swim lessons, day and overnight trips, and specialized activities such as a Zip line, aeronautics, campfire cooking, canoeing and many others.

Sisol's traditional day camp program runs 7/5/2017 - 8/25/2017 for these age groups:

  • Nitzanim (entering kindergarten)
  • Ofarim (entering 1st grade)
  • Tzofim (entering 2nd grade)
  • Tayarim (entering 3rd & 4th grades)
  • Ramot (entering 5th & 6th grades)

All campers have the opportunity to stay at camp for a late night experience. Late night activities include extended free swim, extra activities planned by Unit heads and counselors, and dinner. Campers will get the chance to cook food over a campfire and spend some extra time with their unit, with camp all to themselves! At the end of the late night, campers will return to the JCC for pickup. Dates and times vary by age group.

Beginning in Tzofim, campers will have an opportunity to take two day trips off of campgrounds. Campers will leave in the morning and return in time for their regularly scheduled afternoon bus. In Tayarim, campers will have one overnight trip experience at Camp Seneca Lake (the JCC's overnight camp), and one day trip experience.
