Camp EAGR is NYS only overnight camp for kids, aged 8-17, with epilepsy/seizures and their siblings. Campers enjoy a week of swimming, horseback riding, rock wall climbing, laughing and having fun with kids who also have epilepsy. Your child will make new friends and get to experience things they might not get to do anywhere else. Once they experience Camp EAGR, it will quickly become one of the best weeks of their life!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Epilepsy is a hidden disorder. Despite how common it is fear and stigma exist. It’s easy to feel isolated and alone. But at Camp EAGR, everyone knows what it’s like to have epilepsy. Campers don’t have to be embarrassed by taking medications, having seizures, or having epilepsy. Everyone at camp understands! Kids with epilepsy can be just KIDS! And siblings connect with other siblings who know what it’s like to have epilepsy in the family. Watch our camp video to see what Camp EAGR is all about!
