Black Kids Matter Celebration 2023

Our 3rd Black Kids Matter Celebration will be held on June 4th from 11am-2pm, at Harris Whalen Park (2126 Penfield Road in Penfield, NY.) We hold this event as a family celebration of Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) children and families in our Greater Rochester community. The BKM event is meant to celebrate, uplift and empower the BIPOC voice.

This is a FREE family friendly event geared towards kids 12 and under, but all are welcome. Some of this year’s activities include: African drum circle, multicultural story time/book readings, sign making/crafts, BIPOC vendors, student performances, and a short march for the children and their families.
