Black History Month Performance

The African American Cultural Center will hold a performance on Saturday, February 23rd at 2pm in the Niagara Power Vista Community Room. Parking and admission are free at the Power Vista.

The New York Power Authority (NYPA) will commemorate Black History Month at the Niagara Power Vista, 5777 Lewiston Road, Lewiston, N.Y., between Feb. 1 and 28 with a display of projects submitted by area students reflecting the national theme: Black Migrations. As part of the month-long event, the African American Cultural Center will hold a performance at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 23rd in the Niagara Power Vista Community Room with emphasis on the theme. The University Heights Arts Association provide theme-related projects for children from noon to 3 p.m. Guests are also invited to enjoy the all-new state-of-the-art exhibits at the Niagara Power Vista. Visitors can take a seat in a 4-D theatre virtual roller coaster ride, create a transmission distribution system on a one-of-a-kind transmission interactive grid table, build a dam or simulate the coordination of power across the state during bad weather.
