The 90-Second Newbery Film Festival is an annual video contest in which young readers create short movies that tell the entire stories of Newbery award-winning books. Creative takes are encouraged: think Charlotte's Web as a horror movie, or The Tale of Desperaux as a musical!
For 15 years we've screened the best kid-made movies annually in New York, Chicago, Boston, and many other cities ... including right here in the Rochester area.
At this special screening at the Seymour Library in Brockport, we'll be showing the best of the movies we've received over the past 15 years from kids all over the country. You don't want to miss these creative, weird, often hilarious movies!
The screening is free, but if you want to make a donation to keep the film festival going, we'd certainly appreciate it.
You can find complete details at the 90-Second Newbery website: http://www.90secondnewbery.com.
