We will again be using CampDoc for our online registration system. We are again partnering with CampDoc (an online registration program) to better serve our campers and staff. CampDoc offers online registration and an electronic health record system for campers. The CampDoc site is secure, encrypted and password protected. Only Alfred University Summer Health Staff will have access to camper health information.

This camp is held on the Alfred University campus in our newly remodeled Galanis Family Arena in the McLane Center and is for boys and girls entering grades 3-12. Campers will be instructed on every aspect in the game of basketball. Individualized instruction will be provided in a fun-filled environment! Each day will consist of stations, team and individual contests and games. Each camper in attendance will receive a T-shirt.
The gym will open at 8:30 AM each day (do not drop your camper off prior to 8:30 AM as there will not be any supervision until that time) and will remain open for "open shooting" until 3:30 PM. Campers may be picked up between 3-3:30 PM daily but must be picked up no later than 3:30 as there will be no supervision after that time.
Registration: Fill out our online registration form (We support the current and previous major releases of Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Safari on a rolling basis.). Registration fees are due by the enrollment deadline.
Campers are to bring their own lunch, however, there will be the opportunity to buy from the concessions that will be available each day.
Campers will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis so it is highly encouraged to enroll as early as possible. Once campers are accepted they will be provided a link to complete the required documents (parental permissions to attend as well as health records) for camp. These are required by the start of camp.
The camp will be directed by Alfred University's Men's Basketball Coach Russ Phillips. Coach Phillips took over as head coach starting the 2014 season. He came to AU after five seasons at Hobart College where he was the top assistant coach from 2009-2014. While at Hobart Phillips helped coach a Statesmen team that has been one of the most successful in all of Division III. Phillips has extensive experience coaching outside the collegiate arena. Since 2007 he has worked several basketball camps; was assistant coach at the Western Scholastic Boys Basketball Empire State Games in 2007-08, and from 2005-08 served as head coach for U15, U16 and U17 Rochester-area AAU teams.
