It traces the transformation of the US economy since WWII from the author’s perspective: a blue-collar kid who became the first in his family to attend college, pursued a career advocating for working families, and navigated through the same currents of job insecurity as those he aimed to defend. The book urges an overdue public discussion about the need to shape a prosperous, sustainable, and humane economy for all. Kindly register to save your seat.
