ArtsROC | Kids Out and About Rochester

ArtsROC, a non-profit created in 2010, is dedicated to enriching the lives of children in the Greater Rochester area through after-school and summer enrichment programs. We are located in Pittsford, NY and offer programs in LEGO Education, Minecraft, and language. Our instructors are passionate about teaching and have experience working with children of all skill levels. ArtsROC offers students the ability to discover their passion and then develop it!

After-School Program

Our LEGO Room is an open space where children, supported by qualified teachers, learn through hands-on and exploratory play. In our unique after-school program, we combine Lego building challenges and activities with homework time, Spanish classes, and Minecraft challenges. Join us for just a couple of days, or come for all five!

Summer Minecraft/LEGO Camps

ArtsROC's innovative camp allows children to explore their creativity while improving their technical skills through the use of LEGOs, Minecraft and more! Each camp day consists of Minecraft and LEGO activities interspersed with arts and crafts and free-play (inside and out) in a Montessori-style setting. Our unique blend of computer and hands-on activities provides a dynamic atmosphere that fills each day with fun, one-of-a-kind learning experiences that spark the imagination! Specific activities include: learning to develop and run a Minecraft server by participating in group activities such as building challenges, game development, and scavenger hunts; working on mod servers, such as Pixelmon; participating in free-building challenges with LEGOs; and creating LEGO stop-motion animation films.
