Open to ages 14-18; One week intensive
Camp meets Sunday through Friday July 5-12, 2026 from 9AM-4PM daily (this camp will have rehearsal on Sunday 7/5); Performances Friday, July 10 at 7PM; Saturday, July 11 at 2PM; Saturday, July 11 at 7PM; Sunday, July 12 at 2PM
Camp rehearses at the OFC Creations Theatre Center, performances will be held as an immersive experience at OFC’s The Old Farm Café
Auditions in advance of camp on Sunday, June 21, 2026 from 6PM-8PM. If you are unable to make auditions you may still participate by sending in an audition video.

About the show: From the Tony® and Grammy® award-winning creators of Spring Awakening, Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik, and co-written by Jessie Nelson (Waitress), Alice by Heart is a touching musical inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
In the rubble of the London Blitz of World War II, Alice Spencer’s budding teen life is turned upside down, and she and her dear friend Alfred are forced to take shelter in an underground tube station. When the ailing Alfred is quarantined, Alice encourages him to escape with her into their cherished book and journey down the rabbit hole to Wonderland. As they travel through the tale, Alice by Heart explores the poignancy of first love, coming to terms with loss, and finding the courage to move forward. This world premiere musical encourages us all to celebrate the transformational power of the imagination, even in the harshest of times. Please note: This show may include PG-13 material. All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI.
About the program: OFC’s teen intensive program (or Pre-Professional Program) is geared towards students considering a future career in the performing arts. This camp is an “intensive” where the show is auditioned, rehearsed, and performed in a short time period. These are full Broadway or off-Broadway length shows with difficult material, and oftentimes are shows with smaller. Those auditioning and registering for Pre-Professional Teen programs should be prepared to commit themselves to a rigorous rehearsal process with the expectation of work being done at home and outside of the rehearsal room. Directors of the Pre-Professional Teen programs assume those participating want to be performing professionally after high school and will be pushed accordingly, to their fullest potential. Directors hope to bring a glimpse into the professional rehearsal process to prepare students for college, community, and NYC/LA mirrored opportunities. Rehearsals are adjusted based on the needs of the show. By dress rehearsals, costumes, set pieces, and props will be added to enhance the production which will be open and advertised to the public. It is encouraged that all participants not only have previous theatre experience but are also striving towards performing professionally as a career. Please note that teen shows may contain PG-13 content in the material provided by the licensing company. We advise campers and their families to research the show prior to enrollment.
