(AFTERNOONS: for ages 12-14) Calling All World Makers! Using elements of science fiction, Afrofuturism explores the intersection of African/African-American culture with technology and ecology in order to interrogate and re-examine historical events.

Using elements of science fiction, Afrofuturism explores the intersection of African/African-American culture with technology and ecology in order to interrogate and re-examine historical events. In this camp you will get to create a unique never-seen-before world! With magical amulets, future tech, mythology, mystery, history, and YOUR imagination, you will create a story in the hottest new literary genre: Afrofuturism!
