Campers will map and carry out local bicycle day trips in the Rochester area. We will travel the Erie Canal Towpath, the Genesee River Trail, and other area trails to visit cool places and enjoy the region's natural beauty.
Students design & construct interactive structures programmed with motors & sensors. This hands-on course builds design thinking & strategic innovation as young learners solve for the building & programming challenges they are posed.
Using the latest release, VEX IQ Robotics System, students will be taught foundational building and programming concepts as well as, the importance of the Engineering/Iterative Design Process with problem-solving for specific mission challenges.
Our revamped camp will be devoting more time to all things aquatic this summer! Campers will swim and do water activities twice a day, along with playing in the adventure center, fitness activities, and group games related to our weekly camp theme.
Day Camp provides campers with the traditional experience. They will enjoy all that Camp Eastside has to offer while focusing on making friends, teamwork, and of course, fun! Our structured day ensures that campers will get a chance to try new things as well as enjoy all of their camp favorites. Traditional camp hours are 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. AM and PM care are available at no additional charge.
Overnight Camp children discover opportunities to be truly independent. With all this independent choice comes more responsibility, especially as campers grow up through camp programs. Campers develop confidence and character to eventually become leaders at camp and in the world.
Day Camp provides campers with the traditional camp experience including swimming, sports, adventure, and creative/performing arts. We meet and exceed all camper-to-counselor ratios as designated by the NYS Department of Health.
The focus on camp activities, group games, and challenges gives campers the chance to achieve and be recognized for their accomplishments in a place where it’s okay to fail… as long as you try again! Friendships blossom through encouragement and challenge in the camp community.
Camp Cory offers a shorter camp experience for younger campers ages 7-10. They'll participate in a program that gives them the opportunity to experience many of the great camp activities we offer. This program is a great way for first time campers to have an introduction to camp.
Maijgren Village campers will spend the majority of their time on boats on the water. Days will be split between land classes, water drills, and competitive races, as well as time to partake in recreational sail. Campers will have the choice to participate in Free Hour activities with the rest of camp or continue sailing. They’ll also take part in Cabin activities, Village activities, and Evening Programs.
Each day gives your camper a chance to learn the basic skills and fundamentals of a variety of different sports. in addition, campers can look forwards to Camp Olympics, Red Wings field trip, and a field trip to the Buffalo Bills Training Camp! Camp hours run 9 am-4 pm with AM and PM care available at no additional charge.
