We’re not your typical classroom! Camp Arrowhead offers 55 acres of fields, creeks, and wooded areas for your homeschooler to explore. Each Wednesday, students will learn though hands-on activities that focus on a variety of topics.
Through food, performances and a look at our shared history, Genesee Country Village & Museum salutes our German ancestors with German Day on Saturday, Sept. 19.

Take an after-hours guided tour through the candlelit and spooky streets of the historic village on Oct, 16-17 & 22-24 to find costumed characters spinning tales from iconic horror literature of the 19th century. (Reservations Required)

The Goddard School - A Fun Learning Experience! Our educational and fun program is designed to provide the best childhood preparation for social and academic success by enhancing the emotional, social, cognitive and physical development of children from six weeks to six years of age. The Goddard School, conveniently located in Bushnell’s Basin, is open Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 6 PM year-round. We offer a variety of scheduling options for infants and toddlers; full- and half-day preschool; full-day and wrap-around kindergarten enrichment for parents who want the proven advantages of high quality early childhood care and education for their children.

In this astronomy class, homeschool teens around 12-15 years old learn how to find and identify stars, constellations and planets of the autumn sky, and learn what to watch for in eclipses coming up in 2015, 2017 and 2024. Three 90-minute sessions at RMSC Strasenburgh Planetarium.
In this astronomy class, home school students explore constellations of fall and winter, planets and orbits in our solar system, stars and their relationship to our Sun, and the search for Earthlike planets and "Goldilocks zones" around other stars. Ten 90-minute sessions beginning Wednesday, Oct. 7. Sessions take place in the Strasenburgh Planetarium exhibit area and Star Theater.
